A Brief History of 0ur Temple

Ayyappa Prasthanam in Vijanapura started in 1966 with Ayyappa devotees
conducting Bhajans and Ayyappan Vilakku in a Shed near Krishnarajapuram Railway station.

Land for the temple was purchased in the year 1975
and the temple construction was completed in the year1981.

Temple Timings

  • Morning: 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM When there is Udayasthamana pooja the temple will be open until 11:30 AM
  • Evening: 5:30 PM to 8:00 (Closes with Harivarasanam) When there is Udayasthamana pooja the temple will open at 4:30 PM
  • Daily Ghee Abhishekam at 6.00 AM
  • Daily Ganapathy Homam at 6.30 AM
  • Evening Deeparadhana at 6.30 PM
  • During Mandala Season:
    Morning: 5:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Evening: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
