- 8 days Utsavam will be celebrated with Kodiyettam on the first day and culminates with Arattu on 8thday( That is 41st day of Mandalam).
- Palliivetta is on the 7th day night.
- Arattu is done in the Arattu kulam at Shivan temple in Krishnarajapuram. Arattu Moorthy is taken as procession in decorated Ratham from our temple to Sri Shivan temple at Krishnarajapuram.
- Return procession after ARATTU starts from Shivan temple in Krishnarajapuram with Thalapoli,chendamelam and reaches our temple through Old Madras Road, ITI colony, ITI circle, Ganesh temple in ITI.
- Kodiyirakkam is done after the procession reaches the temple.
- Parayeduppu is done on the route of Arattu procession and also on all the 8 days of Utsavam in the Temple when the temple is open.
